Continuing the success of the season, Millie Rhodes competed at the England Athletics U15 & U17 Open Championships at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. Competing in the 300m it was a second place finish in her heat as she ran a new Personal Best time and qualifying for the final, qualifying as the second quickest overall.

Following the heats, it was then a second best time of the year for Millie, only behind her time set in the heats, to finish a very close race in the silver medal position! Congratulations to Millie on her deserved podium finish.

It's the second trip to the Alexander Stadium in July for Millie as earlier in the month she represented the West Yorkshire Schools team again for the 300m, finishing second in her heat in a Personal Best time at the time of running and later finishing fifth place in a very tightly contested final.
